The artwork of Holly Manneck.
Holly Manneck contacted me recently to introduce herself as the newest addition to the amazing artists represented by Art Modern Gallery in Naples, Florida.
As artists, we share similarities in style and era of our subjects. Holly's work evokes the glamour of the female form through advertising, fashion, and icons of the 1950's. Her colors are magnificent and her textures and layering add to the composition of her pieces.
This current body of work is based on the themes of Hydro Power and Solar Power utilizing vintage icons of sunglasses, swimming goggles, and swimsuit advertisements. I am loving these pieces and am always so happy to discover new art that I relate to.
