The artwork of Glenn Fischer.

I stumbled upon the work of Glenn Fischer when I noticed he was following my blog. There was a mutual admiration for each others work. Our work is both based on a similar era in American history.

Glenn's work focuses on the 1950's through the 70's. He collages vintage paper ephemera and imagery from the past and combines them together with shapes and vivid color. His work has small bits of information for the viewer to follow as a narrative or just to see them as random images. I love his color palette and the texture that he achieves through layers of paint and collage.

You can see more of Glenn's work here. His blog is here.
